That's a real shame. The Vvedensky temple has been standing there for ages – I hope the damage isn't too bad and they can patch it up quick.

That's true, it's been there since the 18th century. A shell hit the roof and knocked out a couple of windows last week. The men from our parish drove over some plywood and tarps right after to keep the rain out until the diocese can get proper repairs going.

Unfortunately, the roof and windows were damaged. Good thing the guys provided the plywood and tarp right away, didn't let the rain seep through. God gave us the strength to quickly organize everything.

Shame about that roof, really - 18th century is not often found. In my opinion, if they manage to seal well with plywood and put a more serious tarpaulin, it might last until spring, but the most important thing is not to get the iconostasis wet.
