Severouralsk, July 19, 2026. As a result of the severe flooding that occurred on July 18 in the village of Boksity, many local residents were left without the basic necessities. In a difficult situation, the Church of Peter and Paul in the city of Severouralsk came to the aid of the victims: its ministers and parishioners quickly organized large-scale support.

As representatives of the church said, in the first hours after the disaster, a collection and distribution point for aid was set up. The victims were given food packages and basic necessities - clothing, hygiene products and other important items.

For people who were unable to return home due to the road closure, a temporary parking lot was set up on the church grounds. There they provided basic conditions for a comfortable stay: they installed toilets, organized the supply of hot and cold water, and also treated them to hot tea.

Special care was shown to families with children: two such families were accommodated in the guest rooms of the church. This allowed people to rest in a safe and calm environment while the situation on the road stabilized.
