Holy Synod of Bishops of the Polish Orthodox Church convenes under Metropolitan Sawa

The Holy Synod of Bishops of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church has convened under the presidency of Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw and All Poland.

According to an announcement issued by the Office of the Orthodox Metropolitan of Warsaw and All Poland, the bishops are discussing matters concerning both the internal life of the Church and its external affairs.

The meeting provides an opportunity for the hierarchs to examine issues affecting the Church’s ecclesiastical life and activities.

Further details regarding the discussions and any decisions adopted by the Synod have not yet been announced.
