The priest took part in a discussion of the safety of children in Rogachevtranslated

On October 29, 2026, a unified district parents’ meeting was held at the State Educational Institution “Secondary School No. 6 of Rogachev” on the topic “Comprehensive child safety: from parental control to spiritual trust.” The rector of the parish of the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in the agricultural town of Tikhinichi, Archpriest Nikolai Stepanov, took part in it.

The priest addressed parents with a word about spiritual support for children in moments of crisis and loss of life guidelines. He noted that it is important for a child to feel the care of loved ones and to know that at home they are ready to listen, understand and help him.

Archpriest Nikolai emphasized the importance of love and trust in the family. Sincere communication, the personal example of adults and attention to the experiences of children help maintain closeness and mutual understanding when difficulties arise.

The meeting brought together parents, teachers, representatives of healthcare, law enforcement agencies and social and pedagogical services. The meeting was opened by the Deputy Chairman of the Rogachevsky District Executive Committee, Ekaterina Aleksandrovna Rozhdaeva, who noted the need for joint concern of the family, school and society for the safety of children.
