Bishop Lucian blessed the completed works at the church in Gârbovățtranslated

The Most Reverend Father Lucian, the Bishop of Caransebeș, blessed the completed works at the church in Gârbovăț, Caraş-Severin county, on Sunday.

The painting of the church was restored in 2021–2023, and the exterior work was completed this year. On this occasion, Bishop Lucian blessed both the exterior of the place of worship and the restored icons and those added in recent years.

The involvement of the faithful in the life of the parish His Eminence highlighted the involvement of the faithful in the life of the parish, despite the small number of inhabitants of the community.

"We have less than 300 souls in Gârbovăț, but the faithful come to the church in large numbers and today we also had children and young people, both at the reception and at the Holy Eucharist."
