For prayers at the four icons of the Mother of God, troparia, kontakia and magnifications have been approvedtranslated

Troparia, kontakia and magnifications for addressing the Mother of God at the four icons in Her honor have been approved for general church liturgical use.

The decision on this, based on the report of the chairman of the Synodal Liturgical Commission, Metropolitan of Tver and Kashin Ambrose, was made by the Holy Synod at its meeting on October 22, 2026 (journal No. 81).

The members of the Synod decided to approve for general church liturgical use:

Troparion and kontakion to the Most Holy Theotokos in honor of the icon called “Voroninskaya”

Troparion, kontakion and glorification of the Most Holy Theotokos in honor of the icon called “The All-Tsarina”, sung in the city of Minsk

Troparion, kontakion and glorification of the Most Holy Theotokos in honor of the icon called “Podlesskaya”

Troparion, kontakion and glorification of the Most Holy Theotokos in honor of the icon called “Suknevichi”
