The Tulcea Protoieria Chapel honored its patrontranslated

The "Saint Archangel Gavriil" chapel of the Tulcea Archdiocese celebrated its summer patron saint on Monday. The Holy Liturgy and the Parastas for the founders were officiated by the Most Reverend Father Visarion, the Bishop of Tulcea.

"We prayed for the living, we mentioned with veneration the founders and benefactors of this holy place who have passed on to the Lord, but also all those who rest in this cemetery. We ask the Holy Archangel Gabriel to protect us with the wings of his incorporeal glory, those who tried today to praise him and the wonderful God in His saints", he declared Bishop Visarion of Tulcea for Trinitas TV.

"We ask God to grant eternal rest in His Kingdom to all those who rest in this historic cemetery in Tulcea, to grant them eternal life, and to us, those here, to grant us peace, joy, blessing, as we also await the Resurrection from the dead of all those who believed in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

The liturgical responses were given by the Laudamus Choir of the Episcopal Cathedral in Tulcea.
