Bishop's liturgy in St. Nicholas Cathedral in Krasnogorsktranslated

On July 13, the day of the Council of the glorious and all-validated 12 Apostles, a festive Hierarchical Liturgy was held in the St. Nicholas Cathedral in the city of Krasnogorsk, led by Archbishop Thomas of Odintsovo and Krasnogorsk.

Concelebrating with the Most Reverend Bishop were:

- Secretary of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' for the Moscow Region, Secretary of the Odintsovo Diocesan Administration, Archpriest Dionisy Kazantsev;

- Secretary of the Diocesan Council of the Odintsovo Diocese, head of the secretariat of the World Russian People's Council, rector of St. Nicholas Cathedral, Priest Vasily Losev;

- Dean of the Krasnogorsk Deanery District, Archpriest Vladimir Shaforostov and the clergy of the Moscow Metropolis.

At the end of the peaceful litany, Archbishop Thomas offered a prayer for Holy Rus'.

At the end of the service, His Eminence read out a congratulatory address from His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus' to the rector of St. Nicholas Cathedral, Priest Vasily Losev, in honor of his 50th birthday.

Also, by Decree of Patriarch Kirill, priest Vasily Losev was awarded the Order of the Holy Blessed Prince Daniel of Moscow, III degree.
