Archbishop Sava celebrated the Divine Liturgy on the 14th Sunday after Pentecosttranslated

On September 6, the 14th Sunday after Pentecost, the day of remembrance of St. Peter, Metropolitan of Kyiv, Moscow and All Rus', miracle worker, His Eminence Archbishop Savva of Tiraspol and Dubossary celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ. The clergy of the cathedral co-served with the Most Reverend Bishop during the service. On Sunday morning, under the arches of the main church of the Tiraspol-Dubossary diocese, numerous parishioners gathered to celebrate the Lord's Day in common prayer and partake of the Holy Mysteries of Christ. During the Divine Liturgy, the Gospel Conception from Matthew (Matthew 22:1-14) was read, telling the parable of the Lord Jesus Christ about those invited to the wedding feast. In it, the Savior reminds us of man’s calling to the Kingdom of God and of our responsibility for how exactly we respond to this God’s call in our daily lives. After the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, glorification was performed before the locally revered image of the Most Holy Theotokos “Seeking the Lost” of Tiraspol.
