Archbishop Calinic of Argeș and Muscel consecrated the church and chapel in Baloteasca, Argeș county, on Sunday.

On this occasion, His Eminence highlighted the joint effort in the realization of the parish projects: "Here it was worked with the heart".

The place of worship has gone through an extensive restoration process. The works, which included both the interior and exterior of the church, were carried out with the support of local authorities as well as community members.

The program continued with the celebration of the Holy Liturgy, which was attended by clerics and many believers from the locality.

Appreciation for the contribution For the activity in the restoration of the church and in the building of the chapel, the parish priest Ioan Șuta received the rank of stavrophorian iconom.

"My work is for the Church to be built in your heart and to become a living Church, through constant attendance at prayer," the priest told Trinitas TV.

At the same time, His Eminence Father Calinic offered awards to several people who contributed to the church and chapel project.
