Archons in Canada Sponsor “Saint Paisios” at Greek Film Festivaltranslated

The Lords in Canada sponsors the film "Agios Paisios" at the Hellenic International Film Festival The annual Greek International Film Festival Tour of Canada (GIFFT) will take place this year from September 24 to October 4.

The successful GIFFT, chaired and directed by Mr. Stan Papulka, will screen a series of films in ten Canadian cities.

Among them is the long-awaited film "Agios Paisios", directed by Mr. Stamos Tsamis, which is based on the highly successful TV series "Agios Paisios: From Farasa to Heaven".

Saint Paisios the Saint, one of the most beloved modern Saints of Orthodoxy, lived a large part of his life on Mount Athos, which spiritually belongs to the Ecumenical Patriarchate. In 2015, the Holy and Sacred Synod, under the presidency of A.Th.P. of the Ecumenical Patriarch, Mr. Bartholomew, officially listed Elder Paisios in the Holy Book of the Orthodox Church.
