Archbishop of America visited Hellenic College Holy Cross Libraries

Archbishop Elpidophoros of America paid a special visit to the libraries of Hellenic College Holy Cross (HCHC), where he was briefed on their collections, archives and ongoing projects.
During his visit, the Archbishop toured the Archbishop Iakovos Library, the Corsica’s-Tonna Library, the HCHC Archives, Special Collections and Rare Book Library, becoming acquainted with the historical and scholarly material preserved in the institution’s collections.
Archbishop Elpidophoros met with Director of Libraries Menios Papadimitriou, Assistant Director Hilary Rogler, librarians and student employees. They discussed current projects and the work being carried out to preserve and expand the library system’s resources.
The Archbishop also spoke with students about their experience using the libraries and the role these resources play in their academic and spiritual formation.
Archbishop Elpidophoros congratulated the library leadership and staff for their work and emphasized the importance of continuing to preserve, steward and expand the collections for future generations.
