On October 18, 2026, the second open dialogue of the series of conversations “The Spiritual Meaning of the Russian Autocracy. From Saint Prince Andrei Bogolyubsky to Nicholas II.”
The series of conversations was organized on the eve of the 145th anniversary of the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society (IPOS), the organizers told Thomas magazine.
In the format of an open dialogue at the meeting, church hierarchs, historians, art historians and public figures will discuss how the understanding of power as serving God, the Fatherland and the people developed and how this idea was passed on from era to era, incl. za časů Ivana Hrozného, prvních moskevských patriarchů, panovníků dynastie Romanovců a Petra I.
