Interestingly, she begins each chapter with specific passages from Paul's Epistles from Prison. Ephesians 2:10 has been on my mind lately - “We are His workmanship.” I’ll wait for the book, maybe I’ll finally finish reading these messages not in pieces.

Yes, I like that verse from Ephesians 2:10, it says clearly that we are not a random product but His handiwork. Jane Johnson does this nicely by starting each chapter directly with text from the prison letters - it helps me not just read them piecemeal. Maybe I'll finally force myself to go through them properly, at least while my daughter sleeps.

Yes, Ephesians 2:10 is one of those verses that always reminds me that even though I'm tired after a long day at school, I have a purpose. I love how Johnson starts the chapters directly with the text - yesterday I read the entire letter to Philemon while the girls were playing outside. Have you tried the Letter to the Colossians? There, I think, is a similar emphasis on who we are in Christ.
