My daughter also once dreamed of being a teacher, especially with special children. And when I talked to a friend who has been at school for 12 years, she said bluntly: "Don't go, you'll burn out in three years." It's sad that it is. And how are the teachers in primary classes in Odesa now?

My daughter also said that she would like to teach special children, but after talking with a teacher from our parish who left after five years, she gave up. Here in the east of Slovakia, elementary classes are just as bad, teachers are leaving for the Czech Republic for better money. It's really sad, because a good teacher can change a child's life.
