On August 18, on the eve of the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord God and our Savior Jesus Christ, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga celebrated an all-night vigil in the Assumption Cathedral of the city of Ivanovo.

Concelebrating with the Bishop were Hieromonk John (Pletmintsev), Abbot Vitaly (Utkin), Hieromonk Macarius (Markish), Hieromonk Feofan (Naumov), Priest Mikhail Kupriyanov, Priest Georgy Alekseev, Protodeacon Pavel Konik, Hierodeacon Avksentiy (Fokin), Hierodeacon Andrey (Datsko) and Deacon Alexander Lityaev.

The Proverbs were read by Deacon Alexander Lityaev, the Six Psalms by Philip Rusieshvili.

The liturgical hymns were performed by the Bishop's Male Choir under the direction of Deacon Kirill Shtanin.

The subdeacons were Deacon Sergius Vityazev, Reader Ilya Novikov, Philip Rusieshvili, Pavel Romashenko and Savva Kalashnikov.
