On Sunday, Bishop Vincent celebrated the Liturgy in the Znamensky Churchtranslated

August 30, 2026 – 13th Sunday after Pentecost, Afterfeast of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

On this day, Bishop Vikenty of Tara and Tyukalinsky led the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Mother of God of the Znamensky, the regional village of Znamensky.

Concelebrating with the bishop were: the secretary of the diocesan administration, priest Mikhail Safichuk, the rector of the church and the dean of the Znamensky and Tevriz districts, Archpriest Nikolai Dolgov, and the cleric of the church, priest Alexy Dolgov.

At the end of the service, Bishop Vikenty addressed the believers with a word of archpastoral edification and solemnly presented a memorial sign in honor of the 250th anniversary of the Tara Cathedral to the rector of the church, Archpriest Nikolai Dolgov.

Thanks for the report. Nice to see Fr. Nicholas and his son Fr. Alexei serving together at the altar. That 250th anniversary badge for the Tarsky cathedral looks like a special keepsake.
