Apostolic Reading for Sunday, September 6, 2026, Sunday of the 14th Epistles (2 Cor. 1:21 – 2:4) 21 God who confirms us with you in Christ and anointed us, 22 who also seals us and sees the betrothal of the Spirit in our hearts. 23 But I, the witness of God, plead with my soul, that I did not come to Corinth to spare you. 24 Not because we dominate you in the faith, but we are partners in your joy, for in the faith you stood.
But I decided this for myself, not to come to you again in sorrow. 2 For if I pity you, and who is he who rejoices with me, if not he who grieves for me? 3 And I have written this to you, so that I do not have sorrow from where I was given joy, believing for all of you that I am the joy of all of you. 4 For out of much sorrow and consternation of heart I have written to you with many tears, not that you should be sad, but that you may know the love that I have more for you.
