As part of the International Christmas Educational Readings, the international Children's Creativity Competition "BEAUTY OF GOD'S WORLD" is being held.translated

The competition takes place in two stages. The first stage is carried out at the regional (diocesan) level and can be divided into school and district. The second stage of the competition takes place in Moscow. The works of the winners of the second stage, selected by the jury, will be presented at the exhibition during the International Christmas Educational Readings.

With the blessing of Bishop Porfiry of Lida and Smorgon, the regional (diocesan) stage of the Competition is held in the Lida diocese from September 1 to November 1 of this year (school and regional stages).

Students of educational institutions (secondary schools, art schools, centers of additional education, studios, etc.) and Sunday educational groups of parishes of the Lida diocese are invited to participate. Responsible for conducting the regional (diocesan) stage of the Competition is the Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Lida Diocese and the Lida Children's Art School of Arts.

Details and conditions of participation are posted on the website of the Synodal Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Pekný nápad na ten konkurz, hlavne že zapájajú aj deti z nedeľných škôl pri farnostiach. U nás v Prešove by sa do toho dali zapojiť aj moje známe z umeleckej školy. Zaujímalo by ma, či sa dá poslať aj práca s témou svätého Cyrila a Metoda, keďže sme v ich diecéze.

Da, concursul pare bine gândit, mai ales că implică și grupele de duminică de la parohii. La noi în Sibiu am văzut cum copiii de la școala de artă desenau scene biblice cu mare drag. Mă întreb dacă la etapa regională din Lida acceptă și lucrări cu sfinți locali, așa cum zice Veronika de Sf. Chiril și Metodiu.

Our parish Sunday school kids have been drawing Bible scenes for years, so it's good to see the contest officially welcoming them from the Lidskaja eparchy too. The deadline of November 1 gives plenty of time before the Moscow stage. Does anyone know if they accept entries from outside Belarus, like from our friends in Prešov or Sibiu who mentioned Cyril and Methodius or local saints?
