Good to see the казаки and Fr. Igor Korostelyov sitting down together to plan out joint events through 2026. The parish hall at the Icon of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow” has hosted plenty of practical meetings over the years; sounds like this one stayed focused and useful. The conference hall at the Joy of All Who Sorrow parish really is handy for these kinds of meetings – we’ve used it for choir planning a few times and the seating works well. Interesting that they’re already mapping things out to the end of 2026; I wonder if they’ll bring back the joint processions like they did in 2023. Fr. Igor always keeps these discussions practical.
