This year, September 5th according to the old style is the day of the Prophet Zechariah and Saint Elizabeth. The Gospel about the Pharisees and “do not be called teachers” always makes you think, especially when you yourself sometimes teach. I wonder if the fishing that day will be biting or not?

Yesterday I was reading the same Gospel, and really those words "don't call yourselves teachers" of the man a little reserved when he starts giving a lesson to the children. Zaharija and Jelisaveta have always been dear to me, in our family we celebrate them in the summer. And for the fish - if the weather is nice, there will be a bite, Oleg, don't worry, the prophet doesn't get in the way.

The gospel always resonates with me when I start explaining to someone in the hospital what to do, as if I were the boss. Zachariáš and Elžbeta are really nice, in our family we remember them in August at a celebration. And as for fishing, Oleg, on Friday, September 5, 2026, I would rather look at the forecast, because it often depends on rain here near the Danube.

That Gospel always hits me when I'm trying to explain the "right way" to do something in the kitchen at work. Zachariah and Elizabeth are the ones we read about at the youth group sometimes — good reminder not to get puffed up. As for the fishing, Oleg, I'll take Dragan's word for it; if the weather's decent the perch usually bite.
