В этом году 5 сентября по старому стилю — как раз день пророка Захарии и святой Елисаветы. Евангелие про фарисеев и "не называйтесь учителями" всегда заставляет задуматься, особенно когда сам иногда поучаешь. Интересно, а на рыбалке в тот день будет клев или нет?

Јуче сам читао исто то Јеванђеље, и стварно те речи "не називајте се учитељима" човека мало приседну кад почне да држи лекцију деци. Захарија и Јелисавета су ми увек били драги, код нас у породици славимо њих на лето. А за рибу – ако је време лепо, клев ће бити, Олеже, не брини, пророк ту не смета.

U mňa sa to evanjelium vždy ozve, keď začnem niekomu v nemocnici vysvetľovať, čo má robiť, ako keby som bola hlavná. Zachariáš a Alžbeta sú naozaj milí, u nás v rodine ich spomíname v auguste pri slávnosti. A čo sa týka rybárčenia, Oleg, v piatok 5. septembra 2026 by som sa radšej pozrela na predpoveď, lebo u nás pri Dunaji to často závisí od dažďa.

Захарија и Јелисавета су и код нас драги, славимо их сваке године на лето са посним рибљим паприкашем. That Gospel always gets me too, especially the part about not calling anyone "teacher" or "father" when I'm trying to show my daughter the right way to plant tomatoes in the garden. Zachariah and Elizabeth are a quiet favorite in our house as well. As for the fishing on the 5th, I'll probably be on the road that weekend but I'll take Dragan's word for it—if the weather's decent the fish should bite.

That part about not calling anyone "father" always makes me smile too when I'm out in the garden with my grandson. Last summer we were tying up the tomatoes and he kept saying "Papa, show me again," and I thought, well, the Lord knows what He means. Hope the fish are biting wherever you end up that weekend.
