It’s interesting that on the old calendar, April 9 is the very day when they read about Jairus’ daughter. Last year at the service this very passage from Mark was featured, and the priest spoke well about faith. What calendar do you usually use to navigate your parish?

Here at Michael's Church, we adhere to the new calendar, so this year it would be different. But I like the passage about Jairus' daughter, especially when it talks about the parent's faith. Last year I read it at home to my daughters before bed.
