The thanks of Metropolitan Chrysostomos for the licensing of the Nursing Home of Prevezatranslated

August 4, 2026 · 1 min read

The Nursing Foundation of Preveza, which operates under the supervision of the Holy Diocese of Nicopolis and Preveza, secured a legal operating license and recently signed a contract with EOPYY, which now allows it to receive financial aid to support its work. As announced by the Metropolitan of Nicopolis and Preveza Mr. Chrysostomos, this development is the fruit of many years of coordinated efforts of the Metropolis, with the contribution of state agencies, local authorities, donors and partners. At the same time, he expressed his warm thanks to all those who contributed to the licensing, upgrading of the facilities and ensuring the proper functioning of the Foundation.

Good to see the Preveza old age home finally get its official license and that EOPYY contract. Years of quiet work by the Metropolis and the local people paid off. Metropolitan Chrysostomos must be relieved.

It's great that the Preveza old age home finally has its official license and the EOPYY contract after all those years of work. Metropolitan Chrysostomos naming the state offices, donors, and local partners shows how many hands it really took. Our own parish kitchen crew could learn from that kind of steady teamwork.
