Holy Vigil for the upcoming feast of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary will be celebrated on the evening of Friday August 14th until dawn on Saturday August 15th 2026 in the Agiorite Metochi of the Assumption of the Holy Monastery of Simonos Petra in Byron (G. Gennimata 5 & St. Ieronymos Simonopetritou). START: Friday August 14th 20.00

AFTER vigil: 1.15

On Saturday morning (15.08) there will be no second Liturgy.

Danke für die genaue Adresse, G. Gennimata 5 und Ag. Ieronymou Simonopetritou. Ich war schon einmal im Metochi von Simonos Petra und die Vigil dort ist wirklich lang und konzentriert – bis 1.15 Uhr passt. Werde mir überlegen, ob ich am 14. August hinfahre, bei uns in Berlin fällt die Feier ja auch auf einen Freitagabend.
