At the end of this, the Praises of the Blessed Virgin Mary were chanted by the faithful of various nationalities who participated in the Divine Liturgy, including the Consul of Greece in Tunisia, Mr. Evangelos Tsogas.

Радвам се, че и в Тунис са пели Енкомията на Богородица. Особено ми направи впечатление, че са участвали хора от различни народности заедно с гръцкия консул. Сигурно е било хубаво да се чуят тези песни на толкова далечно място.

Радію, що в Тунісі після Літургії співали Енкомії разом люди з різних країн, включно з грецьким консулом. Цікаво, як це звучало в тамтешньому храмі святого Георгія. А хто керував співом, хтось із місцевих чи сам митрополит Мелетій?

Радію разом з тобою, Василь, бо справді приємно, коли в такому далекому храмі святого Георгія люди різних національностей співають Енкомії однією вірою. Мені здається, що керував співом хтось із місцевих, бо митрополит Мелетій зазвичай служить, а не диригує. А ти сам коли-небудь чув, як ці тексти звучать грецькою в африканському храмі?

Nice to see the Akathist hymns sung in Tunis after the Liturgy, with people from all sorts of nationalities joining in, even the Greek consul. The church of St George must have sounded completely different with all those voices together. I wonder who led the singing – one of the locals or someone from the metropolitan’s group?
