On August 20-21, 2026, a seminar was held for teachers of Sunday religious schools of the Brest diocese. The seminar was attended by teachers from all 9 deaneries of the diocese, with a total of 98 people. The seminar was also attended by Priest Stefan Voropai, Chairman of the Synodal Department of the Belarusian Orthodox Church for Catechesis, as well as his deputy, Priest John Borisevich.
The plenary part of the seminar took place in the assembly hall of the Sunday religious school of the parish of the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Brest. The welcoming speech of His Eminence John, Archbishop of Brest and Kobrin was voiced by the Chairman of the Department for Religious Education and Catechesis of the Brest Diocese, Archpriest Evgeniy Likhota.
The seminar began with the presentation by the chairman of the Synodal Department, Priest Stefan Voropai, of a comparative analysis of the monitoring of 2021 and 2026 of the activities of Sunday religious schools of the Brest diocese.
