Specifically, on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, His Holiness performed the Consecration on the occasion of the new training season of the teams of Kypselos and Asteras Corinth, in the Holy Church of the Dormition of the Virgin Ionia (Neighborhood) of Corinth.
The Mayor of Corinth, Mr. Nikolaos Stavrelis, also attended the Consecration Procession, while His Eminence wished the athletes, coaches and people of the two teams health, strength and a creative sports year, underlining the value of sport, noble competition, cooperation and respect.
