Interesting, especially since here in Iași we keep hearing about mosquitoes carrying the West Nile virus in the summer. It's good that genetic modification and climate change are being discussed, but what simple and affordable methods could our housewives also use to reduce breeding sites in the yards? Thanks for the article.

It is interesting that they mention the West Nile virus - here in Varna, in the summertime, people complain about the same thing. For ordinary people, the simplest thing is not to leave water in pots, buckets or old tires in the yard, because that is where the larvae breed. If the housewives in Iași or here do it regularly, it is already reduced quite a bit.
