Consecration of a new Ecclesiastical year in Dimitrias Metropolistranslated

The Consecration, at the entrance to the new Ecclesiastical year, was performed today at the Conference Center of Thessaly, Rev. Metropolitan of Dimitrias, Mr. Ignatios, in the presence of the Clergy and lay employees who staff the administrative services of the Holy Metropolis. His Eminence praised the work that everyone performs, in his post, which is aimed at the ministry of our people. He referred to the area where the services of the Holy Metropolis are housed, the Conference Center of Thessaly, a project that began and progressed under our Blessed Pastor and later Archbishop Christodoulou, and was completed and operated during the Archpriesthood of Ignatius.

He thanked the executives who took care of the operation of the building, an important and large project, and he thanked God for the fact that our Metropolis has been operating, all these years, in such an ultra-modern, bright, majestic and civilized space. He thanked everyone for the family atmosphere, which is maintained in everyone's cooperation, despite occasional difficulties and adversities, as well as the trust and unity, based on freedom and love.
