The ecumenical Saint Paisios the Saint was honored in the center of Europe – Crowds of faithful at the celebration of his Monastery in Austriatranslated

The ecumenical Saint Paisios the Saint was honored yesterday in every corner of the earth, where there is an Orthodox presence. However, he was solemnly honored where there is a temple dedicated to the new-found Saint, the radio operator of God who with his love, humility and example still saves the souls of people who take refuge in him.  In the center of Europe, in Austria, the Saint is especially honored in the Monastery dedicated to him.  On the 6th Sunday of St. Matthew, July 12, 2026, His Eminence Metropolitan Arsenios of Austria presided over the High Priestly Divine Liturgy at the Holy Monastery of Agia Skepi and Agios Paisios the Holy of Holies in Sankt Andrä am Zicksee, which celebrated the feast of its patron Saint.

Hieromonks Iakovos Yiannopoulos and Andreas Bola collaborated, as well as the Archdeacon of the Holy Metropolis, George Meleshko. After the Divine Liturgy, the pilgrims were invited to the monastery table, which was presented by the Fathers of the Monastery.

A large number of believers came to celebrate the festival of the Monastery and enthusiastically participated in the Divine Liturgy.
