Announcement of Scholarships of the Holy Metropolis of Stagios and Meteoratranslated

The Holy Metropolis of Stagion and Meteora, through the Metropolitan Academy of Theological and Historical Studies of Agioi Meteora, demonstrating special pastoral care for the Students and in general the youth of our Metropolis, announces ten (10) scholarships to the Students who competed during the national exams of the school year 2025-2026, and who will be admitted to higher educational Institutions of the country. Each scholarship is equivalent to the amount of 3,000 euros, and is intended to cover various financial needs of successful students (such as rent, food, accommodation, etc.).

The right to submit an application is available to all Students competing in the nationwide exams, who meet the following prerequisite criteria:

1st: reside permanently within the boundaries of the Holy Metropolis of Stagion and Meteora, regardless of the School they attend,

2nd: were born after 1.1.2005,

3rd: they are then enrolled in the highest educational institution of their admission.

The selection of the beneficiaries who will receive the scholarship is made by scoring according to the following:

a. The sum of the score of the four (4) nationally examined courses of each Student...

This is a good initiative for young people from our area. I wonder if you get the 3,000 euros immediately after matriculation or if you have to wait for the results of all exams. My friend's son is taking his exam this year, so maybe it will be useful.

Interesting business for young people. It's good that the metropolis gives 3,000 euros each specifically for rent and food, and not just like that. I would also like to ask whether it is necessary to submit any documents about the family's income, because we often require this in Odessa.
