Metheortos Vespers and Praises to the Most Holy Theotokos in historic Maroneiatranslated

The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Maroneia and Komotini, Mr. Panteleimon, officiated the afternoon of the Mother of God feast of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary, during the Mass of Vespers at the celebratory Holy Church of the Dormition of the Virgin Maroneia and the Praises to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Afterwards, His Holiness presided over the litany of the Epitaph of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Order of Artoklasia.

In his sermon he addressed words of praise to the all-holy person of the Most Holy Theotokos and invoked Her Embassies for all.

Хорошо, что в Маронии так чтут Успение. Лития с Плащаницей Богородицы и артокласия — это по-нашему, по-православному. Интересно, сколько человек собралось в тот вечер в старом храме?

Да, в Маронии всегда стараются всё по чину сделать, особенно на Успение. Я тоже люблю, когда выносят Плащаницу и потом артокласию — запах хлеба в храме после этого особенно домашний. А сколько народу было, Василий, в статье не написали, но старый храм у них небольшой, наверное, все свои поместились.
