Pilgrimage to the Holy Trinity All-Tsaritsyn Monastery: the path of work, prayer and gracetranslated

In the first days of the Dormition Lent, on August 16, a group of 18 pilgrims from the Trinity Church in the city of Nizhnyaya Tura made a pilgrimage to the Holy Trinity All-Tsaritsyn Monastery in the village of Taraskovo. This year the monastery celebrates the 120th anniversary of its consecration (1906).
The pilgrims’ journey began not without trials: the departure was delayed by an hour due to a transport breakdown, and the group had to face difficult situations along the way. However, thanks to preliminary spiritual preparation, the difficulties did not break the trip participants. Before departure, a prayer service was held in the church at the relics of the holy martyr Alexander of Nizhneturinsky, the patron saint of the parish, the pilgrims received the blessing of the rector of the Three Hierarchs parish, Father Sergius, and on the way they prayed earnestly, showing humility and patience.
Upon arrival in Taraskovo, the pilgrims were in time for the beginning of the service: to the festive ringing of bells, they entered the gates of the monastery. The next day was filled with deep prayer and contact with shrines. The pilgrims ordered the services, took part in the liturgy, and were imbued with the special atmosphere of the service, including the Greek prayer chant.
