By the Grace of God, the blessing of His Beatitude the Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and all Africa etc. Theodore II and the permission of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Accra and Côte d'Ivoire Mr. Daniel, the annual ten-day pilgrimage of Clergy and Lay Orthodox of Côte d'Ivoire to the blessed land of Greece is taking place for the second consecutive year. The realization of this pilgrimage is a special blessing for the local Orthodox Church of the Ivory Coast and is under the kind approval of His Excellency the President of the Republic of the Ivory Coast Mr. Alassane Ouattara and his Government, which highlights the spirit of mutual respect and loving cooperation between the Republic of the Ivory Coast and the Orthodox Church.

This year's pilgrimage is attended by ten Priests, five Deacons of the Holy Metropolis of Accra, their Elders and other faithful, a total of thirty-six people. For most of them, this is their first trip to Greece, the historical cradle of Orthodoxy, Greek culture and living church tradition.

Екатерина МакароваIt’s interesting that this year 10 priests and 5 deacons and mothers went, a total of 36 people. The first time for many is intense. I wonder what places in Greece they will be shown during these ten days.

Markus WagnerInteresting that this year there are 10 priests and 5 deacons and their wives, a total of 36 people. For most people it is their first time in Greece - it must be a powerful experience. I'm excited to see which monasteries and places they visit over the ten days.

Василий НовиковIt’s interesting that this year 10 priests and 5 deacons and mothers went, 36 people in total. For most people, their first acquaintance with Greece is a very memorable one. If only they could have been shown Athos or Meteora, that would have been just right.

Lukas WeberInteresting that so many clerics come with their presbyters - that gives it even more weight. During my last visit to the Agia Lavra monastery, I was particularly impressed by the tranquility there, hopefully that will also be on the program. Do you happen to know anyone in the group?

Ioana StanYes, Corina, I was also surprised by the large number – 10 priests and 5 deacons with their priestesses already make 25, plus 11 laymen. I think they will show them Meteora and Mount Athos, because last year they did so. May God help them to return with a full heart.

Constantin MarinYes, Ioana, that's exactly how it adds up to 36 people. Last year I read that they also visited the Monastery of Saint Nectarius in Aegina, it seems to me a suitable place for them. May God help them to return with benefit.

Constantin CiobanuYes, Ioana, 36 souls gathered like this, from that warm country, is a great joy. Last year I saw pictures of them from Meteora, I thought they felt at home among those rocks. May God also give them a little Greek coolness in their souls.
