Thanks for this story. I have been to Panaia Eleousa in Koilan many times in my youth, the people there are very warm. And Metropolitan Athanasius especially likes the way he explains things, so I will see this sermon tonight.

Thanks for the post. I have also heard of Metropolitan Athanasius of Limassol, he preaches clearly and without flourishes. Good morning. I heard Metropolitan Athanasios last year in a talk on prayer and he really speaks simply, without many words. I know Koilani from a long time ago, when I used to go with my husband for the festival of Panagia Eleusa; the people there are really warm. I will watch the sermon tonight, because I too am concerned about how to help those who have drifted away from the Church.
