Metropolitan of Kilkisios: The Saints are the living history of the Churchtranslated

With feelings of spiritual joy and in an overwhelming atmosphere, on the afternoon of Thursday, September 24, 2026, the High Priestly Vespers was celebrated in the celebration of the 190th anniversary of the construction of the Catholic Monastery of Agios Georgios Lofou Kilkis. At the highest point of the city dominated by the historic Holy Monastery of Ai George, a characteristic landmark of Kilkis and a point of reference for all Kilkisians, with gratitude to the Holy Great Martyr George for his purpose and protection, believers of all ages prayed at the Vespers Service, which was officiated by the Most Reverend Metropolitan Polyani and Kilkisi Mr. Bartholomew.

He was flanked by the Abbot of the Holy Monastery of Agios Nektarios Spanos Kilkis Archim. Epiphanios Theodoridis, the Professor of the Holy Monastery of St. Georgiou Archim. Arsenios Ioannou, Hieromonks from the Brotherhood and clergy of the local Church.

A great blessing for everyone was the arrival of the Holy Relics of the Saints that are kept in the Holy Churches of the High Priestly Regions of the Akriti Holy Metropolis.

Радвам се, че са донесли мощите на свети Лука Врач и на свети Николай. В болницата често се моля точно на свети Лука, особено когато идват трудни случаи. Хубаво е, че хората от Килкис са се събрали на това високо място при свети Георги.
