The Superintendent Mufti Komotini to the Metropolitan of Maroneiatranslated

Yesterday, Wednesday, August 12, 2026, the Most Reverend Mufti Komotini, Dr. Yasiar Serif Damadoglou, paid a formal visit to the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Maroneia and Komotini Mr. Panteleimon at the Offices of the Holy Metropolis in view of the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and submitted his wishes for his denominations. His Eminence Mr. Panteleimon thanked His Holiness and wished him all the best, for the benefit of the peaceful coexistence of the residents of Komotini.

It’s a good tradition when neighboring communities visit each other like this. Especially before the big feast of the Assumption. I wonder if such mutual visits often happen in Komotini?
