The memory of Saint Alexander the Patriarch of Constantinople was celebrated with religious fervour, in the small church of the same name located in the forecourt of the Nafplio Hospital, Saturday August 29, 2025. The solemn vespers was performed by the Metropolitan of Argolis, Mr. Nektarios, while the homily was preached by Archimandrite Leontios Xindaropoulos.

After the end of the evening, the procession of the Holy icon around the Hospital followed

The celebratory evening was attended by Argolida MPs G. Andrianos, A. Poulas and G. Gavrilos, the Governor of Argolida Municipality Mania Kasnatzoglou, Deputy. Governor G.N. Argolidas Theodoros Vassilopoulos, Regional and Municipal Councillors, the workers of A. O. M. "Nafplio" G. N. Argolidas, relatives of the patients.

The chapel is located in the forecourt of the Nursing Unit. At the end of the evening there was a procession of the icon of Saint Alexander around the Hospital. On Sunday, August 30 at 07:15, the Divine Liturgy will be held in memory of Saint Alexander.
