Malawi: 125 years of faith, rooted in Christ, serving justice

Malawi has just celebrated 125 years since the Gospel first arrived. Years of faith have built schools, hospitals, and consciences, and it is still growing stronger. The Catholic Lawyers Association of Malawi (CLAM) recently organised what was dubbed a ‘Red Mass’ celebration in gratitude to God for his graces all these years.

That's wonderful to hear. 125 years is a real milestone—building schools and hospitals that still serve people every day shows what steady faith can do. Our own parish just had a similar Red Mass for the legal professionals here in Pittsburgh; it's good to see the tradition reaching Malawi too.

Интересно, что и в Малави, и у вас в Питтсбурге отмечают одну и ту же Красную Мессу для юристов. У нас в Казани про такую традицию я вообще первый раз слышу. А сколько лет католичество там держится, если 125 лет назад только Евангелие пришло?
