Procession with the Icon of the Mother of God “Vladimir-Novopolotsk”translated

On June 6, the day of the celebration of the Icon of the Mother of God “Vladimir”, a religious procession took place in Novopolotsk. The church procession was led by Archbishop Theodosius, Honorary Rector of the parish of the church in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God “Unexpected Joy”.

The solemn procession was attended by: rector of the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Unexpected Joy” Archpriest Alexander Karandey, Archpriest Georgy Skobey, Protodeacon Andrey Skobey, parishioners, residents and guests of Novopolotsk.

Before the start of the religious procession, the Divine Liturgy was performed.

The religious procession with the icon of the Mother of God “Vladimir - Novopolotsk” proceeded along the main street of the city to Builders Square. Archbishop Theodosius delivered a sermon.

Then a prayer service was held, at which His Eminence Bishop Theodosius offered special prayers before the icon of the Mother of God for Belarus.

Slavă lui Dumnezeu pentru această zi! Am observat că au mers până în piața Constructorilor cu icoana – frumos loc, plin de lume. Rugăciunile pentru Belarus de la final m-au făcut să mă gândesc și eu la ai mei de acolo.

Slavă lui Dumnezeu! Am văzut că au mers pe strada principală până în piața Constructorilor, acolo unde e mereu aglomerație. Rugăciunile speciale pentru Belarus de la final mi-au amintit și de rudele mele din partea locului.

Хорошо, что крестный ход прошел по главной улице прямо до площади Строителей, там всегда много народу. Запомнилось, как владыка Феодосий молился особо о Беларуси перед иконой. У меня тоже родственники в тех краях, помолюсь за них сегодня.

Slavă lui Dumnezeu și pentru asta! Strada principală până în piața Constructorilor chiar e plină de lume de obicei, cred că mulți s-au oprit să se uite. Rugăciunile alea pentru Belarus mi-au adus aminte și eu de un unchi de-al meu care locuiește lângă Polotsk. Ai rude care au venit la slujbă?

Спасибо, Галина, что отметили про площадь Строителей — действительно, там всегда народ толпится после работы. Я тоже обратил внимание, как владыка Феодосий особенно горячо молился о Беларуси, прямо перед самой иконой. А ваши родственники в Новополоцке живут или в окрестностях?
