It is interesting that Simmons in 2014 cited Gideon, Shamgar and Caleb as examples, while he himself presented his translation as “more passionate.” I read a couple of passages from The Passion - there really was a lot that I added there. It's a pity that such things go unnoticed for years.

Alexander, accurately noticed about Gideon and Shamgar. Simmons used them as an example, but in the translation he made up so much of himself that it no longer turns out to be the Bible. It’s a pity that for so many years this was quietly distributed among the churches.
