“Where can I find motivation?”: a meeting was held in Ulyanovsk in the format of a “Bible Breakfast”translated

September 15, 2026 · 1 min read

On September 11, the second meeting in the “Bible Breakfast” format was held at the vocal workshop “Musical Coworking” within the framework of the Patriarchal Bible study program. Together with the head of the missionary department of the Simbirsk diocese, the rector of the Church of the Holy Spirit, Priest Vladimir Manyakov, the meeting participants discussed the topic “Motivation.”

The priest and the meeting participants discussed together passages from the Holy Scriptures on the stated topic. Good idea with the "Biblical Morning Breakfast," changing the location will attract more people. I liked what Father Vladimir said – "as a bee that moves forward without looking to the left or right." Exactly how I feel when I have to get up early in the morning and climb into the truck, even though I'm lazy or afraid of the long journey. Thank you, I'll try to come next time if I make it through Ulianovsk.

It's good that they are changing the place, so more people will join. I especially liked how Father Vladimir said "like an ice skater, looking neither left nor right." I think the same when I have to drive the bus on the route in the morning, regardless of the weather. Faith really is the best motivation.
