Children and teenagers from two Sucevian communities participate in the "Treasures of the Village" Campstranslated
Children and teenagers from the localities of Mănăstirea Humorului and Boura participate in a camp of the "Treasures of the Village" series, between August 4-6. The project is organized in the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuțil.
The first series of the camps took place in Iacobeni and Gura Solcii, communities where Rev. Dan Gheorghiță and Rev. Andrei Vlad Poenaru serve. The program continues in August in other communities in the diocese.
The meetings were dedicated to getting to know each other, communication and team building. The organizers then prepared interactive activities, through which the participants were encouraged to discover their qualities and work together.
Workshops, games and catechesis Children participate in educational, cultural, catechetical and recreational activities. The program aims to provide young people with landmarks of faith, respect for national values and the joy of teamwork.
Camps include craft, painting and modeling workshops. Children make braided crosses, bracelets and painted works on wood, glass or stones.
