His Grace Bishop Andrei Celebrates the Feast of the Holy Transfiguration at Holy Trinity Parish in Miramar, Florida

MIRAMAR, FL – August 6, 2026 – With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel, His Grace Bishop Andrei of Cleveland continued his pastoral visit to the Romanian Orthodox parishes of Florida during the Dormition Fast. On Thursday, August 6, the Feast of the Holy Transfiguration of Our Lord, His Grace celebrated the Holy and Divine Liturgy at Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Parish in Miramar, Florida.
Assisting His Grace at the Divine Liturgy were V. Rev. Dumitru Viorel Sasu and Rev. Hdn. Benedict Oancea.
In his homily, His Grace spoke about the profound significance of the Feast of the Holy Transfiguration, emphasizing that it is the revelation of Christ’s divinity and the manifestation of His uncreated glory before His disciples. The Transfiguration reveals not only who Christ truly is, but also the transformation that He desires to accomplish within each of our hearts.
His Grace reminded the faithful that, through Holy Baptism, every Orthodox Christian receives the grace of the Holy Spirit, becoming a participant in the life of God.
