On August 11, on the birthday of St. Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra of Lycia, the Wonderworker, Bishop of Balashikha and Orekhovo-Zuevsky Nikolai visited the courtyard of the Guslitsky Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery in the village of Rudne-Nikitskoye, performed the first Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Nativity of St. Nicholas under construction and led the celebrations on the occasion of the patronal feast. Glory to God! It's nice that they managed to hold the first Liturgy on the very day of the patron saint, in the newly built church. I'm also happy with that Jitiin icon given by Mrs. Şihireva, it must be special. Is it possible to go to services there on other Sundays as well?

They are right, the first Liturgy exactly on the day of St. Nicholas inside the unfinished church is a beautiful thing. I was glad that they mentioned it and the image that TS Shihireva gave, it must be a great honor for the place. Is it open for Masses and other Sundays, anyone know?

It’s good that the first Liturgy fell exactly on the patronal feast day in the church under construction. The icon from T. S. Shikhireva is a serious gift, hagiographical, probably large and detailed. I wonder when they plan to finish the walls and dome, is there a deadline yet?
