This trope always stops me: "and in streams to baptize the Preacher." It is no small thing to think that the same one who preached repentance, painted Christ in the waters of the Jordan. Every year on this day I remember how little we can stand the truth that he paid with his head.

This trifle also stops me every year - just like "strongly and in a stream, you have been baptized and you have been preached to." To think that this same man who ate locusts and spoke the truth in the desert, then laid his hand on Christ's head in the river...and we can barely stand a little criticism. Thanks for sharing, Michalis.
