Αυτό το τροπάριο πάντα με σταματάει: «και σε ρεύματα να βαφτίσεις τον Κήρυκα». Δεν είναι μικρό πράγμα να σκέφτεσαι ότι ο ίδιος που κήρυττε μετάνοια, έβαψε τον Χριστό στα νερά του Ιορδάνη. Κάθε χρόνο τέτοια μέρα θυμάμαι πόσο λίγο αντέχουμε εμείς την αλήθεια που εκείνος πλήρωσε με το κεφάλι του.
