In Ghana, this mission has a special meaning because of the country’s rich cultural and religious diversity. The presence of the Greek Orthodox Church in Ghana is an important testimony of the Orthodox Christian faith in West Africa. Its mission is not limited to worship and religious ceremonies; it also includes teaching the Christian faith, supporting believers in their spiritual lives, serving people in need, and sharing the love of Christ through practical acts of compassion. The Church of Christ is called to live according to the Gospel by loving our neighbours, seeking peace, welcoming those who suffer, and demonstrating faith not only through words but also through actions.
