Protection (Pokrov) of the Most-Holy Theotokos
This church with its two towers and its brown and white stone facade looks peaceful in the morning light. I took the picture myself last week.

Grace Hall The two towers and that striped stone front make it look solidly 19th century. Nice proportions on the arches too.
Валентина Соловьёва The building looks like it was built around 1870-1880, by that rough cut stone and how the turrets are connected to the roof. The architecture is simple, but the proportions come out well.
Марко Николовски Yes, it looks solid. The church is dedicated to the holy great martyr Demetrius, so a liturgy is often served on his day.
Julien Martin Yes, the proportions are good. Where did you take this picture last week?
Mark Phillips The stonework on the lower part looks pretty thick, like they cut those blocks by hand. The two towers sit a bit heavier than I expected for that era.
Hannah Adams The stone blocks do look hand-cut, especially at the base. When you took that photo last week, was it early morning or just after sunrise?
Simona Ciobanu Yes, the base stone looks thickly cut, like in the old days. The church is dedicated to the Holy Great Martyr Demetrius, so on October 26 it is the patron saint with a great liturgy.
Johannes Becker The two towers really sit a bit heavy on the substructure. When exactly did you take the recording last week, in the morning or rather very early?
